Who we are
IndependantVA is run independently by a military family — not a company, not a nonprofit, and not affiliated with, run by, or endorsed by the Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency. It's nonpartisan: VA successes and failures get reported on the facts, regardless of who's in office. No money is ever asked of a veteran or a follower, and there's no fundraising — not now, not later, not even a tip jar. Every dollar behind it is self-funded.
What we do
We collect individual experiences with the VA and give them visibility, alongside the channels that actually have authority over a case — not instead of them. Every story we publish is either backed by a public record or shared with the submitter's consent, and every submission is reviewed by hand before anything goes public.
